akvola Technologies Announces the Appointment of Two Leading Membrane Experts to its Advisory Board

Berlin, Germany – February 23rd, 2016 – akvola Technologies, an emerging leader in the treatment of hard-to-treat industrial effluents, is pleased to announce two new Advisory Board Members, Lute Broens and Bruno Steis. They will serve as a strategic resource to akvola Technologies as it continues to market its innovative akvoFloat™ systems to the industry.

The background of the new members of akvola Technologies’ advisory board is world-class:

• Lute Broens successfully founded X-Flow, a membrane manufacturing and application company that was recently sold for €700 million to Pentair and is currently world market leader. Current and previous positions: President of the Board of Directors of the European Desalination Society (EDS); Chairman (ad interim) and member of the Board of Directors of Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP); Chairman of the working group Water and the Water Recycle of NWP; Director of Strategy and founding father of Wetsus, a top institute for water technology (Leeuwarden, the Netherlands); Member of the IWA (International Water Association) Smart Water Group. • Bruno Steis has more than 30 years professional experience in top management positions in large corporations and small technology firms. In 2008 he moved from the Chairman position of inge AG to the Executive Management, where he was the CEO until recently.
